About the event
Bringing Light to Darkness
Through this theme, we’ll explore the idea of finding and creating Light—even within darkness—while experimenting with colour, blending, texture, and expressive mark-making.
No previous pastel experience is needed.
Come ready to experiment, create, and bring your own light to your artwork.
Materials: Chalk pastels and black paper will be provided. (Anyone with an allergy to chalk dust, please let me know in advance)

Cash/Revolut @Shelz
Please arrive for 2pm so we can start our creative session together.
Come comfortable and wear something you don't mind potentially getting chalk dust on :)
Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket and anything that you feel will add to your comfort.
After the sound session you are welcome to stay and enjoy some butternut soup (v).
If you're feeling up to it, you're welcome to take a cold plunge and a hot shower before your soup.
Cold plunge note:
Shifting Nervous System States: Sound healing activates the parasympathetic ("rest-and-digest") nervous system by slowing brainwaves and easing tension. A cold plunge immediately triggers a sharp sympathetic ("fight-or-flight") response, spiking your heart rate, blood pressure, and adrenaline.
The Contrast Experience: Some people enjoy the intense shift from deep relaxation to a sharp, clear-headed rush of cold water. Others find that a cold shock abruptly pulls them out of the soft, grounded state they just cultivated.
